In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top communication apps on the Android platform in Bulgaria showcased some interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced varying degrees of success in terms of revenue, downloads, and active users.

Rakuten Viber Messenger saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.7K in late June. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, ranging from 7.6K to 8.5K. Meanwhile, weekly active users showed a gradual decline from 2.3M to 2.2M by the end of the quarter.

Telegram maintained a steady revenue stream, reaching around $2.2K in the last week of June. The app enjoyed an upward trend in weekly downloads, climbing from 9.7K to 11.7K. Active users also increased, with numbers rising from 602K to 694K.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out experienced modest revenue growth, ending the quarter at around $1.2K. Weekly downloads varied between 1.9K and 2.6K, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 115K.

Snapchat had a varied revenue performance, peaking at $722 in late June. Downloads saw a significant rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching 13K, and active users increased from 218K to 232K.

Lastly, CallApp: Caller ID & Block experienced slight fluctuations in revenue, ending around $171. Downloads showed a minor upward trend, peaking at 1.5K, while active users remained steady at approximately 5.9K.
